Dr. Crystal U. Twynham, MD FACS
Dr. Crystal U. Twynham, graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School with an MD and has been in the profession for 19 years. She did her internship and residency at Marshfield Clinic/St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Dr. Twynham went back to school in 2003 and did a one year fellowship in bariatric (weight loss) and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Twynham currently practices General and Bariatric Surgery.
She believes that patients need to be educated to help be an informed partner in their health care, and in making decisions about their wellness. This is a process that requires willingness on the part of both parties to listen and express themselves. As a result, Dr. Twynham takes time with patients to help them understand their illness, diagnostic possibilities, and treatment options. She is there throughout the surgical process to provide the best possible care.
